Linda Peanberg has a remarkable straight forward approach to cross-culture & she is not afraid to attempt any graphic representation of some of the most difficult theme of the psychological landscape, using the most logical of all graphic tools, the diagram & the map. While the result could appear as grotesque as these copper wheels around these Victorian heads, her approach reminds us of our thoughts when we tend to abandon a direction because the gap between emotion & logic appears too wide.

Peanberg presents 2 works on her site, demonstrating the incompatibility while showing a breach where logic & emotion actually meets powerfully... in her art of putting these two culture of thoughts together.

In the "Jane Austen" series, she provide several beautifully designed diagrams inspired by the content of romantic novels, quantifying and mapping the different type of emotions or character/author psychological status through the narrative.

"Personal Atlas" records her personal emotions & sentiments relative to places she has lived, studied & visited. A interesting attempt at creating inner snapshots of her life.

Other very "cross-cultural" works can be seen at www.peanberg.com
